madVR Labs is seeking a manufacturing partner to source components for our new \"Baby Envy\" video processor, targeting an aggressive entry-level price point. Our top-end model, the Envy Extreme is selling very well and continues to win many industry awards, but there is untapped demand at the low end of the market which the Baby Envy will be targeted to.
We work successfully with a custom case manufacturer also in Guangdong. I will ask them to reach out to you on our behalf as well.
Our solution must have a dedicated Nvidia RTX GPU (cannot use AMD or Intel), and must run Windows. We also would like it to be very compact, such as to fit in a 1 rack unit high case.
This leaves us with 3 potential paths:
Mini-ITX motherboard with mobile Nvidia RTX GPU (3060/3070/4050)
Mini-ITX or other motherboard with Nvidia RTX GPU embedded directly onto the motherboard.
Laptop motherboard with either a Nvidia RTX GPU mobile card, or embedded directly onto the motherboard.
Its critically important that we have a solution that helps guard against component shortages.
Initially quantities in year one are hard to predict, but we estimate 1,000 to 5,000 units year one, and 5,000 - 10,000 units year two. We are ready to start immediately.
